1. Legal Classification

All items listed on FirearmsAntique.com are classified as firearms antiques under the United States Gun Control Act of 1968. By definition, these are firearms manufactured in or before the year 1898.

Because these items are historical artifacts and not modern firearms, they do not require an FFL (Federal Firearms License) transfer or a background check for domestic purchase. However, the buyer is responsible for ensuring compliance with all local, state, or provincial regulations regarding the possession of antique weaponry.

2. Condition & Functionality

Our inventory consists of original antique guns and military relics that are between 125 and 200 years old. All items are sold strictly as **historical collectibles and inert display pieces**.

We do not warrant the mechanical safety or firing capability of any item. Buyers intending to utilize these pieces for anything other than display do so at their own risk and are urged to have any antique inspected by a professional gunsmith before any attempt at mechanical use.

3. Payments & Security

To prioritize collector privacy and maintain efficient operations at our Gillette, NJ hub, we utilize direct payment methods. We accept Bitcoin (BTC), Zelle, and bank wire transfers. We do not accept credit or debit cards.

Orders are processed once funds are fully cleared. For high-value investment grade pieces, additional identity verification may be requested to protect the integrity of the transaction.

4. Shipping & Logistics

We provide insured, museum-grade packaging for all artifacts. Shipments are dispatched via tracked carriers from our New Jersey logistics center. While we guarantee the firearms antique status of the items, we are not responsible for delays caused by carrier transit or international customs procedures.

5. Age Requirement

By placing an order on this website, you certify that you are at least 21 years of age and are under no legal disability that would prevent you from possessing historical artifacts or 19th-century antiques.
